Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Richardson, Texas
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
• On-call weekdays and weekend shifts required

Required Qualifications

• Endoscopy Technician with 1 year of experience
• Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic
• Copy of a valid government-issued photo ID is required; passport may be used instead
• E-Verify or attestation required
• Background check required within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
• Photo for badge required
• All candidates must sign the job description prior to start
• All candidates must complete the non-employee internet access form prior to start
• All candidates must complete the NESF form prior to start
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Fit test completed onsite during orientation and updated annually
• Tdap required for all travelers
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start; PPD not accepted
• Hepatitis B: vaccine series and positive titer, or signed facility-specific declination form
• Drug testing required within 30 days of start; rapid drug screens not accepted
• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire required
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing required for all RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Cath Lab Techs
• Pass/Fail testing applies to medication and dysrhythmia/EKG competency exams, with two attempts allowed
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for all RNs
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required for Cath Lab Techs and certain nursing units
• MHS EKG Study Guide required for the Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
• MHS Medication Exam Study Guide required for the Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam

Certifications

• BLS required for some units
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP required for L&D and NICU
• TNCC or TCAR required for ER; ATCN acceptable in lieu of TNCC for ER
• EFM required for L&D
• NIH Stroke Certification required for some units and may be obtained within 30 days of hire
• State license verification required

Preferred

• TCAR or TNCC preferred for all Adult Critical Care ICU units except Southlake
• Passport-style badge photo is highly preferred
