RN - Orthopedic Surgery

Overview

• Travel RN assignment in Gallatin, Tennessee.
• Specialty: Ortho, Post Operative, Med/Surg.
• Unit: A6.
• 1 opening.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Weekend coverage as needed, every third weekend.
• No call requirements.
• Must be willing to float as needed.
• 23-bed unit.
• Patient ratio: 4-6:1.
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients 13 and older.
• Common diagnoses/treatments include post operative joints, post op bariatric, postoperative GI, and trauma patients.
• Level III Trauma Center status.
• Weekly orientation on Mondays.
• Open to 48hrs Guaranteed and Weekend Block Scheduling.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• Orthopedics experience within the last year.
• 1 year of Orthopedics experience.
• Orthopedic Surgery experience.
• Med Surg experience.
