Cardiac RN

Overview

Travel RN assignment in Clyde, North Carolina
13-week contract
36 hours per week
PM shift
Every other weekend
No call requirements
22-bed Progressive Care unit on the 4th floor
Float requirements: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Step-down/ICU experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Cardiac patient population
Telemetry equipment
Patient ratio: 4:1
Adult population
Common diagnoses/treatments include cardiac
Unit handles cardiac observation, post cardiac cath lab patients, and cardioversions

Additional Information

Orientation is bi-weekly
Upcoming start dates: 10/26, 11/9, 11/23
Dress code: Navy scrubs
Unacceptable attire includes offensive tattoos and non-facility tops
