NICU RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Rockville, Maryland
  • Level 3 NICU
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–6:45
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Ratios: 1:2
  • Weekend requirement: every other weekend
  • Locals accepted
  • First-timers accepted: No
  • Pending license accepted: No
  • Float scope: Peds, Well baby Nursery

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maryland
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • NURSYS verification
  • STABLE
  • 2 clinical references
  • Color Blind Exam
  • Competency Exam
  • Physical Exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit Mask within 12 months of start
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Tdap within the last 10 years
  • Drug screen including cotinine or nicotine and marijuana within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • Eye Exam within 6 months of start
  • Hepatitis B positive IGG quantitative titer within 5 years of start
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
  • Copy of professional license
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • E-Verify proof or attestation
  • Background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM
  • HHS/OIG
  • Transcript/Diploma or Education Verification
