IMC RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Charleston, West Virginia
3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Weekdays, every other weekend
13-week contract
First-timers accepted
No call requirement
Can be floated within scope to meet facility needs
Open to block schedule requests, discussed in interview
100-mile radius rule; 75–99 miles may be sent for facility approval
No RTO restrictions, but requests should be discussed in interview
Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week options, discussed with manager

Unit

3S Intermediate Care Unit
8 IMC beds and 10 Observation beds, staffed separately
Ratios: 3:1 for IMCU and 4:1 for M/S
Patient population includes respiratory issues, DKA, arrhythmias, post-operative kidney transplant patients, interventional neurological patients, telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs, and renal patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in West Virginia
Intermediate Care (1 year of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with mechanical ventilation
