Description
ICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Saint Marys, Ohio
- Start date: 11/30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: rotating weekly days and nights; first week days, second week nights
- Hours: 36 per week
- Weekends: every other
- Floating: will float and ICU/SD unit as needed
- First time travelers accepted
- Locals not allowed
- Radius restriction: 50 miles
- Block scheduling can be discussed during interview
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Stepdown experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Criminal background check within 6 months of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM
- HHS/OIG
- Fingerprinting within 6 months of start, with annual updates
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
- State License 1 verification
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Competency Exam
- Photo for badge
- Confidentiality statement
- TB questionnaire
- Pre-employment physical within 30 days of start
- Tdap immunization within 10 years of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination between 10/1 and 3/31
Preferred Qualifications
- NRP

- Fit test completed onsite during orientation
- Can start with some clearance items pending where the source explicitly allows it
