Description
Radiation Therapist
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Cleveland, Ohio
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
- Shifts may start as early as 6:00am or as late as 12:00pm
- Weekend and holiday on-call rotations
- May float to other facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Ohio
- Radiation Therapist (1.5 years of experience)
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT (R)(T)
- Graduate from a school of Radiation Therapy Technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with external radiation therapy
- Experience with IMRT
- Experience with IGRT
- Experience with CT simulation
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
- Background check required prior to start
- Education verification required
- Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask required within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 6 months of start
- Drug screen required
- References: 2 within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
