PT Outpatient

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Hermann, Missouri
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekends not required

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Experience in an Outpatient setting
Experience caring for traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients
Experience caring for spinal cord injury patients

Clinical Focus

Outpatient PT with some acute coverage when needed or when there are no outpatients scheduled
Will work with patients with ortho, neuro, and cardiac diagnoses, plus post-ortho aftercare and generalized weakness

Skills / Experience

Home Exercise Program
Patient/family education
Assessment body mechanics
Orthopedics: cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical surgery, post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, spinal condition, total hip replacement, total knee replacement
Neurologic: cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury
