NICU RN

Overview

Travel RN position in Winchester, Tennessee
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
1 opening
Weekly orientation on Mondays
Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel

Unit / Setting

OB department on the 3rd floor
Level 2 NICU
4 labor rooms, 9 postpartum beds, and 4 NICU beds
Float scope: Postpartum / Well Baby Nursery

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
Experience working with NICU Level 2 patients
ACLS
BLS
NRP
STABLE

Preferred

Minimum 2 years of level 2 or higher NICU experience
Well newborn nursery experience

Shift / Schedule

Shift details not specified
Every 3rd weekend / as needed
No call requirements

Clinical Details

Patient population: laboring/postpartum moms and newborns
Common diagnoses/treatments: respiratory distress, hypoglycemia
Equipment: CPAP, vent, UVC, IV
Patient ratio: 3:1 NICU
