PCU

Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN position in Melbourne, Florida.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
36 hours per week.
Contract length: 13 weeks.
Ratios: 1:5.
Guaranteed hours are contracted.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida.
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
One completed travel assignment.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
NIHSS.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience with Epic.

Schedule / Work Expectations

Every other weekend required, or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, depending on unit needs.
On-call is not required.
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
Traveler has a home base but may float to other units or locations within Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, or Viera.

Additional Requirements

Flu vaccine required during flu season, with medical or religious exemptions only.
Pending license is not accepted.
