L&D RN
Overview
- Contract role in Fort Defiance, Arizona
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shift
- Must be flexible to work day shift, weekends, and holidays as needed
Role Details
- Registered Nurse needed for L&D, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, and babies rooming in with moms
- Average 40 deliveries per month
- Average 6 C-sections per month
- May occasionally cover as charge nurse after charge nurse training
- Travelers may float to other departments where they are qualified to work, including patient care or task-oriented support such as answering call lights and phones
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Experience working with OB patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Post Partum experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS
- NRP
- AWHONN or RNC-EFM
