PACU RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Johnson City, Tennessee
- Day shift: 3x12s, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM
- 2 weekend shifts per contract
- No call
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
Preferred
- 3 references preferred
Additional Notes
- General orientation begins on Sundays, with Sunday online CBLs
- The hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
- Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census/resource needs without penalty
- Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
