Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio.
• 13-week assignment.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
• 36 hours per week.

Role Details

• Work across SICU, NCCU, MICU, Cardiology, and CVICU.
• Travelers float based on competency, patient acuity, and organizational staffing needs.
• Typical ratios are ICU 1:1–1:2, PCU 1:3, and acute care 1:4.
• In rare, extreme staffing situations, PCU or acute care assignments may require one additional patient.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• NURSYS verification.
• State license verification within 30 days of start.
• Emergency Contact Form.
• Background check, including Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting.
• Employment application.
• Skills checklist.
• Unit-specific competency exam.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam.
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam.
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement.
• Annual stroke education/BEFAST modules for the listed stroke-capable critical care areas.
• Physical exam.
• Negative TB or chest x-ray.
• TB questionnaire.
• Tdap.
• Rubeola (Measles).
• Mumps.
• Rubella.
• Hepatitis B.
• Varicella.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen.
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season.
• Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Training Certificate.
• Confidential Fraud Waste Abuse and Compliance Reporting Mechanism Form.
• Ethics and Compliance Policies acknowledgement.
• Dress Code and Hand Hygiene Policy acknowledgement.
