Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)

Location

• Dubuque, Iowa

Assignment Details

• 13-week temp assignment
• Days, 12 hours per day
• Will float on a rotational basis
• If floated as an ICU RN, will be called back to ICU if needed for increased census through the remainder of the shift
• Primarily used for tech-like jobs/helping hands when floated, but may still receive an actual assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in Charge roles
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Philips monitoring equipment experience
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate

Other Requirements

• Must work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed
• No locals; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
• Past employees of UPH who were FTE or PRN for the float pool cannot work travel in another market within 12 months
• EPIC experience is required in the source data
