L&D RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: 11/16
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Ratios: 1:1
- First-timers accepted
- Locals accepted
- Weekend work required
- Call: none
- Floating within the hospital: yes
- Floating to sister hospitals: no
- Block schedule not accommodated
- RTO restriction: 1 week max
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Unit / Clinical Setting
- Labor and Delivery RN
- Care includes antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients
- High-risk Level 3 perinatal center
- Level 4 NICU on site
- Approximately 150 births per month
- 2 ORs on the unit for C-sections, BTLs, and PP D&Cs
- A second L&D RN may serve as a “baby catcher” for well, non-compromised babies

Additional Notes
- Outpatient services are provided when the clinic is closed
- Scrubs provided for OR personnel
- Charting system: EPIC
- Parking cost: $10.26 daily
