Description
RNFA (Registered Nurse)
Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Start: ASAP
Role Overview
- RN/FA position for the Main OR, with float coverage to the Main OR
- On call as needed
- Scrubs are provided for the OR; any scrub color is acceptable
Schedule
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (described as 7a-3:30p in the posting)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- First Assist experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse, OR)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Other Details
- Badge photo: headshot style, grey background (or as close as possible), saved as a JPG named first/last name
- Pass/fail testing on the first day of orientation; the same tests given to permanent RNs; most candidates pass, and remediation is available; no study guides are offered
