RN - Med Surg

Location: Woodstock, Virginia Unit: Medical/Surgical (24 beds, 1:6 patient ratio) Specialty: Adult Acute Care Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1

Schedule

Shift: 6:45p to 7:15a, nights, 3x12s
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekends: Every other weekend and holiday
On-Call: None
Float Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia (state or compact license)
Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with Epic EMR

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs
Unacceptable attire follows the facility dress code policy

Facility Services

The hospital is a 25-bed acute care facility offering 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiopulmonary services, women's care, diabetes management, behavioral health, a sleep lab, and health and wellness programs.
