• On-Call: Weekdays 4:00pm–7:30am; Weekends 24-hour call (Saturday & Sunday, 7:30am–7:30am); approx. 12 days of call/month
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,917 – $3,242

IR Tech Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or IR Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or valid Pennsylvania state licensure
• Ability to float between Anderson and Warren campuses
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness and availability for on-call shifts as scheduled

Interventional Radiology Tech Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Assist physicians during IR procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety
• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, providing clear explanations and addressing concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Float between Anderson and Warren campuses to support clinical operations
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergency and after-hours cases
