Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,370 - $2,430 per week

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Job Details

Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)
Facility: Hospital – Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 15, 2025 – November 5, 2025)
Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30)
Hours per Week: 40
Employment Type: Travel healthcare contract
Call Commitment: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month

Qualifications for Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

At least 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech or Cardiovascular Technologist
Current New York State registration or limited permit to practice as a Cath Lab Tech in NY
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Advanced certification: ARRT-CV or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
Prepare, operate, and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies
Monitor patient status and deliver high-quality clinical support throughout procedures
Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance guidelines
Participate in scheduled call rotation for Cath Lab coverage
