Pharmacist Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain for PA pharmacy jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a hospital pharmacist or clinical pharmacist
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, medication management, and clinical support
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and verify prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information to the healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in medication reconciliation, patient education, and clinical pharmacy initiatives
