Endoscopy Technician Job Details

Endoscopy Technician Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting
• Valid Endoscopy Technician certification (required)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dedication to patient safety and delivering quality care

Endoscopy Technician Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures in the hospital endoscopy unit
• Prepare, maintain, and sterilize endoscopy equipment and procedure rooms
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Monitor and support patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Collaborate with the hospital healthcare team to provide excellent clinical support
