Endoscopy Technician Job Details

• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• On-call: Maximum overnight weekday call once per week; maximum weekend call once per month
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,240–$1,330 per week

Endoscopy Technician Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician (hospital or clinical setting preferred)
• Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET) or equivalent certification required
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in on-call rotation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills
• Dedication to patient safety, infection control, and quality healthcare

Endoscopy Technician Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures in a hospital environment
• Prepare, operate, and maintain endoscopy equipment and instruments
• Ensure proper sterilization, infection control, and patient safety protocols
• Monitor patient comfort and provide clinical support throughout procedures
• Accurately document procedure details and maintain medical records
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation as part of the healthcare team
