Speech Language Pathologist Job Details

Location: Utica, NY 13502 (New York healthcare jobs)
Healthcare Setting: Hospital, Acute Rehab, Outpatient Clinic
Contract Type: Travel SLP contract

End Date: March 1, 2026
Duration: 13-week contract
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: 8-hour days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2750–$2820

SLP Qualifications

Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience with swallowing bed evaluations required
Video fluoroscopy experience preferred
Ability to work across multiple patient care areas

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Deliver SLP services to patients in inpatient, acute rehab, and outpatient settings
Perform swallowing bed evaluations and assist with video fluoroscopy studies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
Adapt to changing patient loads and coverage needs within the health system
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
