EP Lab Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an EP Lab required
- First-time travelers with EP experience encouraged to apply
- Valid DC state license (active or pending)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS
- Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Proficient with Philips X-Ray, Siemens X-Ray, GE Micropacer equipment
- Two supervisor references required
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
EP Lab Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform and assist in cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants/explants
- Monitor hemodynamics and EKG settings for inpatient and outpatient cases
- Operate advanced imaging and mapping equipment (Philips, Siemens, GE, Biosense, Abbott/ESI)
- Participate in special procedures: Head-Up-Tilt test, Cardioversion, Internal Loop Recorder, Pacemaker/Defibrillator implants
- Maintain sterile field and assist with groin closure devices, peripherals, and laser lead extraction (preferred skills)
- Document procedures and patient care accurately using Cerner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements
