Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross; can be obtained prior to start)
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license (must obtain before start)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital radiology jobs
- Experience in modalities such as Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, Diagnostic, Dexa, or Vascular is a plus
- Ability to float to other radiology units within competency
- Compliance documentation due 7 days prior to start date
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols
- Safely operate and maintain radiologic equipment
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures as needed
- Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation in Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
- Float to other radiology units within your competency
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control and safety standards
- Participate in weekly orientation and ongoing training
