Physical Therapist Assistant Job Details

• Location: Eatontown, NJ 07724 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel, On-Site
• Facility Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 14, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 – $1,460

PTA Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience; inpatient rehab or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
• Current CPR certification (healthcare provider level)
• Ability to work on-site in Eatontown, NJ and complete the full travel contract

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Implement individualized treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic exercises, and support patient mobility and recovery
• Document patient progress accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment for patients and staff
