Lab Technician Job Details – Trenton, NJ

• Location: Trenton, NJ 08638 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital Core Lab & Blood Bank
• Shift: Overnight, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; occasional holidays
• Flexibility: May float between RMC and Hopewell healthcare locations as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
• Employment Type: Travel Lab Technician, On-Site

Lab Technician Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lab Technician in Core Lab and Blood Bank settings
• ASCP certification or equivalent required (Medical Laboratory Technician certification)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to laboratory safety protocols
• Ability to work overnight shifts and every other weekend
• Experience in hospital or clinical laboratory environments preferred

Lab Technician Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and clinical analysis in Core Lab and Blood Bank departments
• Process laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently in a hospital setting
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and clinical support teams to deliver optimal patient care
• Float between RMC and Hopewell healthcare locations as needed
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as part of the clinical laboratory team
