• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8 Hour Days)

PTA Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain (Maryland PTA jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably in an inpatient or hospital setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery
• Administer therapeutic exercises and clinical interventions as directed by supervising therapists
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff
