Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting
• Current Pennsylvania state licensure for Respiratory Therapists
• Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy and patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and clinical support to hospital patients
• Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Conduct patient assessments and adjust respiratory therapies as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of respiratory care services
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures, equipment, and best practices
