Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NY 14626 (New York healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (January 6, 2026 – April 7, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, Tuesday–Friday, 4x10-hour shifts (11:30am–10:00pm)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2110–$2260
• Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist Contract

• Orientation: 24 hours

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Experience with operating room (OR) and c-arm procedures required
• Active New York State Radiology License (must be in hand prior to start)
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Community hospital radiology experience required
• Ability to float to different units as needed

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and vascular studies
• Operate advanced radiology equipment: Siemens DR rooms, Philips GI room, GE c-arms, Carestream portables
• Assist with bedside and portable imaging for adult and pediatric patients
• Support operating room (OR) cases and trauma imaging
• Maintain compliance with isolation precautions and hospital safety protocols
• Accurately document procedures using the EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology and hospital healthcare teams
• Deliver compassionate patient care to all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics
