Xray Tech Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Xray Tech or Radiologic Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Valid Xray Tech certification/license required by the state of Pennsylvania
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety in all radiology procedures

Xray Tech Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures for hospital patients
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during all radiology imaging exams
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all medical imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment according to hospital protocols and safety guidelines
• Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients throughout the imaging process
