Xray Technician Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Xray Technician or Radiologic Technologist (hospital experience preferred)
• Valid Xray Tech certification/license required by Pennsylvania
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Medical Imaging Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures for hospital patients
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during radiology imaging
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with hospital protocols
• Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients throughout the medical imaging process
