Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Active NY Radiologic Technologist license (New York state license required)
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in radiology jobs
• EPIC charting experience
• Experience in trauma level I or II healthcare settings preferred
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Willingness to participate in on-call and weekend coverage

Radiology Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: X-ray, CT, MRI, Dexa, and vascular studies
• Deliver imaging services to diverse patient populations: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using EPIC
• Follow infection control and isolation precautions
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as needed
• Float to other clinical units based on facility needs
