Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15213 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Unit

• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday

Qualifications – Interventional Radiology Technologist

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in interventional radiology procedures (hospital setting preferred)
• Valid Interventional Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent)
• Ability to obtain required clearances: ACT 33, ACT 34, ACT 73
• Strong technical skills in diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical support abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures independently and accurately
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Demonstrate initiative, critical thinking, and independent judgment in patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality clinical support
• Participate in on-call coverage during off hours and weekends as needed
