Ultrasound Tech Job Details

• Location: Middle Township, NJ – New Jersey healthcare jobs
• Pay Rate: $89.28/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2170–$2330
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotational weekends
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• On Call: Required (weekday and weekend)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Ultrasound Technician Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technician or Echo Tech
• Current BLS certification required
• Registered through ARDMS or CCI (Echo Tech certification preferred)
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Strong knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and digital ultrasound equipment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress and transesophageal echocardiograms, following American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL standards
• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac ultrasound procedures and equipment
• Complete daily scheduled tests efficiently and accurately for diverse patient populations
• Prepare patients and clearly explain ultrasound procedures
• Navigate and document within the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Participate in rotational on-call coverage as required
