Radiology Technician Job Details

Location: York, PA 17403 – Pennsylvania healthcare jobs
Setting: Hospital – Advanced Procedural Suite
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/23/2026, End: 5/25/2026)
Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2300-$2470
On-Call: Rotation required; must be located within 30 minutes for call response
Weekend/Holiday Coverage: As needed by the unit
Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technician, W2
COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions available)
Facility: Tobacco and fragrance free

Radiology Technician Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or Interventional Radiology Tech (will consider candidates with less experience)
Active ARRT certification (AHA or ARC only) – required for radiology jobs
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
Ability to participate in call rotation and work weekends/holidays as needed
Flexibility to stay longer to care for last patient if required
Ability to care for COVID patients as needed
Must reside within 30 minutes of York, PA facility for call response

Radiology Technician Responsibilities

Perform vascular and interventional radiology procedures in the Advanced Procedural Suite
Assist with diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT, Dexa, and general radiology
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for weekends and holidays
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including tobacco and fragrance-free standards
Complete required modules and orientation prior to start
