Key Job Details – Pompton Plains, NJ Cath Lab Tech

• Location: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 (Northern New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Assignment Type: Travel Cath Lab Tech contract
• Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 2/23/2026 – End: 5/16/2026)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed)
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts/week (Shifts vary: 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm)
• Call Requirement: 7-10 call shifts per month

Estimated Weekly Salary

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2710 - $2920

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (New Jersey license preferred)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is a plus

Healthcare Job Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures
• Assist physicians before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures
• Assess and manage vascular access sites, reporting concerns promptly
• Follow on-call protocols for the Cath Lab
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
