Qualifications for Interventional Radiology Technologist Jobs

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or Radiology Tech (IR Tech)
Preferred: RT(R)(VI) credentials (Radiologic Technologist with Vascular-Interventional certification)
Current ARRT certification required
Ability to participate in on-call rotation
Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

IR Tech Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures under physician supervision
Operate advanced imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring throughout procedures
Maintain accurate healthcare records and documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
Participate in scheduled on-call shifts as required by the hospital
