• Setting: Acute Care – Nuclear Medicine / Diagnostic Imaging
• Start Date: 02/16/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through 05/18/2026) with potential to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience (PET/CT experience preferred)
• Certification: ARRT (N) or NMTCB (required)
• License: New York State Department of Health license as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
• CPR: BLS certification (required)
• Ability to work independently in a busy Nuclear Medicine department while collaborating with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and the broader healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and radiation safety guidelines
• Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following regulatory requirements and facility policies
• Operate, troubleshoot, and complete quality control (QC) checks on imaging equipment to support accurate diagnostic results
• Provide patient screening, education, and positioning to ensure safe, high-quality exams and an excellent patient experience
• Document procedures, doses, and patient information accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with the care team to prioritize workflow, support timely patient throughput, and maintain a high standard of clinical support
