• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,520–$1,640/week

Radiologic Technologist Requirements

• Experience: 1+ year of Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist experience (hospital, clinic, or physician office preferred)
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent plus completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Certification: Current ARRT (Radiography) registration (ARRT R)
• CPR: Current AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider) maintained throughout assignment
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, and diagnostic imaging workflows
• Strong communication skills, ability to follow written/verbal instructions, and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities – Diagnostic Imaging / Radiography

• Prepare patients for exams, verify imaging orders, and explain procedures clearly to support an excellent patient experience
• Confirm two patient identifiers (name and date of birth) prior to imaging
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain accurate diagnostic radiographic images
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, including CR, DR, and Fluoro rooms
• Perform equipment start-up/shut-down procedures and troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Transfer images to PACS, scan/route documents, and adjust exam priority (STAT/URGENT) when appropriate
• Assist the Radiologist and/or Fluoro Tech during fluoroscopic and special procedures
• Transport and operate portable radiographic equipment in areas such as the ED, OR, PACU, and nursing units
• Use proper sterile technique when required (e.g., OR and special procedures)
• Prepare and administer IV/oral contrast media as needed and follow contrast reaction protocols with proper documentation
• Document patient history, symptoms, limitations, and exam details accurately in PACS
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support department workflow and clerical tasks as assigned
• Promote radiation safety and follow ALARA standards for patients and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide excellent customer service to patients and families
