Travel MRI Technologist Contract Details

• Job Title: MRI Technologist (Travel) – Hospital

• Setting: Hospital / Diagnostic Imaging Department
• Start Date: 03/02/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through 05/30/2026)
• Schedule: Weekend Days; 2 shifts/week (2x12s)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend Shift Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36 hours/week (after orientation)
• Orientation: First 2 weeks require 40 hours/week; flexibility for days and/or evenings may be needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,030 – $2,190

MRI Technologist Requirements (Hospital)

• Experience: 2+ years of MRI Technologist / MRI Tech experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only)
• Equipment Experience: Must have GE or Siemens MRI scanner experience
• Education: Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology (or equivalent)
• Preferred: ARRT (MR) certification (or similar). If not currently certified, must be willing to obtain after starting.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and using medical terminology in daily workflow

Key Responsibilities – MRI Tech (Travel Contract)

• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high image quality and patient safety standards
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, explain procedures clearly, and support patient comfort throughout the scan
• Perform and support a range of studies including non-contrast exams, routine MSK, neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI
• Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure timely communication of imaging needs and workflow
• Document procedures accurately in accordance with hospital policy while maintaining confidentiality of patient information
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized scanning environment within the diagnostic imaging department
• Assist with patient care tasks as needed within scope and department workflow
