- Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment (travel respiratory therapist)
- Start Date: March 23, 2026
- End Date: June 21, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks (90 days)
- Shift: Night shift (NOC), 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and holiday required
- On-Call: No call
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,830 – $1,970 (competitive travel respiratory therapist pay)

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
- Current Pennsylvania state license or ability to obtain prior to start (PA respiratory therapist license)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year recent respiratory therapy experience (hospital setting preferred)
- Experience with mechanical ventilation, ventilator management, and ABG sampling/analysis
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and scheduled holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective respiratory care and respiratory therapy services to hospitalized patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status, ventilator settings, and interventions
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results for clinical decision-making
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, nebulized medications, and other respiratory modalities
- Assist with airway management, intubation support, ventilator adjustments, and rapid response/code events
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and respiratory care plans
- Maintain respiratory equipment readiness, perform routine checks, and follow infection prevention protocols
