Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid Pennsylvania state license or eligibility to obtain PA licensure
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• PA fingerprints and PA child abuse clearance
• Proof of COVID and flu vaccination or approved declination
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an adult ICU or hospital critical care setting

Key Responsibilities (Respiratory Therapist / RRT)

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in a hospital/ICU environment
• Provide ventilator management and mechanical ventilation support, including initiation, adjustment, and weaning per physician orders
• Perform patient assessments, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and respiratory therapies (nebulization, oxygen therapy, airway management)
• Assist with intubation, extubation support, suctioning, and humidification protocols as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, pulmonary/critical care) to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and adhere to hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards
