  • Shift: Day — 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:30)
  • Hours per Week: 36

  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,180 - $1,270 per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiac Monitor Tech or in a related monitored care specialty
  • Active MD or Compact License at time of submission
  • BLS certification (AHA required)
  • CCI CRAT or NTA certification accepted
  • Experience with Epic electronic charting / documentation required
  • Ability to float to all monitored units and to sister facilities as needed
  • Availability to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays
  • Two professional references from recent employers (one supervisor/manager and one charge RN acceptable)
  • Local candidate requirement: must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients in acute care and monitored units
  • Recognize and promptly report arrhythmias, changes in cardiac rhythm, and urgent findings to nursing staff and physicians
  • Document cardiac monitoring data accurately in Epic
  • Troubleshoot cardiac monitoring equipment and ensure proper lead placement
  • Float as needed to ICU, stepdown, and other monitored units; follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient safety and care quality
