- Shifts: 3 × 12-hour shifts/week (rotating shifts as staffing requires)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care and ventilator management for ICU, step-down, and med-surg patients
- Serve as an ICU respiratory therapist providing critical care interventions, arterial blood gas analysis, and ventilator adjustments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, physicians, pulmonary support) to assess, plan, and implement respiratory care plans
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and mechanical ventilators
- Monitor and document patient response to respiratory therapy, interventions, and treatment outcomes
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory treatments, oxygen use, and pulmonary hygiene
- Adapt to rotating shifts and support multiple hospital departments as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner License (or eligible to transfer); Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience; ICU experience strongly preferred
- Experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and critical care protocols
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and cover multiple clinical units
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS and NRP preferred if applicable to specific units
- Must arrange own hospital parking through facility parking and security
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Prior travel respiratory therapist experience or positive references from acute care hospitals
- Familiarity with pulmonary function testing and non-invasive ventilation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity settings
