Job Details

• Location: Plainsboro Township, NJ 08536 — Central New Jersey, convenient to New York City and Philadelphia (Plainsboro, NJ).
• Setting: Hospital – Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) / High-Risk OB/GYN ultrasound
• Schedule: PRN (as needed); minimum 2 shifts per month
• Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekend & major holiday coverage: No weekends or major holidays required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasonographer in Maternal-Fetal Medicine / high-risk OB settings
• OB/GYN sonography certification from ARDMS (The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• Proven skills in prenatal ultrasound imaging, fetal anatomy scans, growth assessments, and Doppler studies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality prenatal and maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies and MFM patients
• Conduct fetal anatomy scans, growth scans, biophysical profiles, and Doppler assessments per physician protocols
• Collaborate closely with MFM physicians, OB/GYN providers, and clinical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and document imaging findings in the electronic medical record
• Provide empathetic patient education and support to expectant parents during imaging procedures
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and sonography best practices
