  • Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:30 – 17:00)

  • Call: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required (must be within 45-minute radius for call back)

  • Unit Details: 3 procedure rooms, daily census of 10

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (neuro and vascular experience required) — IR Technologist / Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
  • Scrub experience required; sterile technique for IR procedures
  • Must be within a 45-minute radius for call back
  • BLS and ARRT (R) required; ARRT VI preferred
  • Maryland state license required (pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start)
  • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
  • Fluoro Permit, ACLS, and advanced EKG skills preferred
  • Professional references required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform angiographic and interventional radiology procedures using prescribed techniques (including neurointerventional and vascular cases)
  • Provide excellent patient care and customer service in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Assist with department procedures and support interdisciplinary clinical teams
  • Maintain patient, staff, and personal safety; follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
  • Utilize and maintain specialized IR equipment (e.g., nephrostomy/Nephogram, kyphoplasty tools, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke/NIR tools)
  • Participate in on-call rotation including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Float within facility or to affiliate hospitals as needed, within scope of practice
  • Complete required orientation and annual modules virtually
