• Shift: Day rotational • 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (7:30am – 6:00pm) • On call every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,830 – $3,040 per week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in interventional radiology and neurointerventional procedures (Neuro IR experience preferred)
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT(R) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, initiative, collaboration, and reliability
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under physician direction in Angio Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR services
• Provide technical support for neurointerventional procedures including angiography, embolizations, coilings, clot retrievals, ablations, therapeutic injections, and aspirational procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment (angiography suites, fluoroscopy systems) following established protocols and radiation safety standards
• Adhere to radiation safety best practices and infection control procedures
• Assist with sterile and non-sterile clinical support during interventional and neurointerventional cases
• Perform equipment quality assurance checks and help maintain supply inventory for IR and Neuro IR suites
• Utilize hospital information systems for scheduling, procedure documentation, and coding
• Provide education and precepting for students and residents as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with evolving neurointerventional techniques and technology

Preferred Skills & Keywords

• Experience with neurointerventional devices and complex endovascular techniques
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EPIC or similar hospital information systems
• Comfortable in high-acuity interventional settings and on-call rotations
