Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech, cardiac sonographer, or echocardiography technician in a hospital or clinical setting
• Relevant certification preferred: ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI cardiac sonographer certification
• Proven ability to perform transthoracic echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures
• Strong communication, patient care, and documentation skills for hospital-based diagnostic imaging
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with physicians, cardiology teams, and allied health staff

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms (cardiac ultrasound) and related diagnostic imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Prepare, operate, and maintain echocardiography equipment; ensure cleanliness and proper function
• Collaborate closely with physicians, cardiologists, and healthcare team members to support accurate diagnosis and patient care
• Document and report findings clearly in patient records and imaging systems
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and clear communication throughout procedures
