Required Qualifications (EP Lab / Radiology)
- Minimum 1 year of EP Lab clinical experience (cardiac electrophysiology technologist experience preferred)
- DC radiology license required at time of submission
- Certifications required: CCI RCES or RCIS, ACLS, BLS
- Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (80% overall; 100% on lethal rhythms)
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Two supervisor references required
Preferred / Technical Skills
- Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record and GE Cardiolab documentation
- Equipment experience: Philips X-Ray, Siemens X-Ray, GE Micropacer
- EKG skills: inpatient/outpatient monitoring, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythm recognition
Key Responsibilities – EP Lab Technologist
- Assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies, complex ablations, and device implants/explants
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring, EKG lead placement, and bedside dysrhythmia detection
- Operate, set up, and troubleshoot EP Lab equipment, X-ray systems, and mapping systems
- Prep vascular access sites, maintain sterile field, and ensure accurate intra-procedural monitoring
- Document procedures and patient data using Cerner and GE Cardiolab
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Complete facility-specific orientation modules and participate in ongoing competency validation
Schedule & Work Environment
- No weekends, holidays, or night shift required for this assignment
- Two late stays per week as assigned (on your scheduled workdays until cases are complete)
- Scrubs provided
