Job Requirements

• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT)
• Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably in radiation oncology or hospital Rad Oncology units
• Act 73 fingerprint results required for compliance
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team and follow oncology treatment protocols

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients with precision and compassion
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently, including linear accelerators and associated treatment devices
• Monitor patient responses during treatment and provide patient-centered care and education
• Accurately document treatment details, maintain patient records, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and the Rad Oncology team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital protocols, radiation safety standards, and quality assurance procedures
